a shadorma for spring ~

NaPoWriMo’s prompt today is a form I’d never heard of before, the shadorma: “The shadorma is a six-line, 26-syllable poem (or a stanza – you can write a poem that is made of multiple shadorma stanzas). The syllable count by line is 3/5/3/3/7/5.” So here we go ~

birds return

a towhee  a finch

three robins

the sun warms

all around me    spring ripens 

green   gold   warm and sweet
